A popular choice for Leslieville brunch-goers, this "funky little place" also draws "trendy" crowds with chef-owner Edward Levesque's monthly changing menu of "well-prepared" Canadian-French dinner fare (plus lunch on Fridays); sure, the surroundings are "average", but affordable prices and solid service help make up for it.
I've eaten in thousands of restaurants in dozens of countries and I have met my share of cranky restauranteurs, but Edward Levesque takes the cake. Mean and rude in the extreme, both with his customers and staff.
No food is good enough to justify that, and the meal was small, salty, cold and mediocre.

I have eaten at this establishment twice.
Once for breakfast, wait staff was rude and pretentious. Completely over-priced for breakfast.
The second visit was during Winterlicious. The menu was limited but I ordered a steak. Food was fairly good but I had to eat again when I got home, not enough to fill your belly.
