Spectacular prices, consistently better than the big box stores (Safeway, Save On, etc.). Great variety and as others have mentioned, for such a cramped store you can find 95% of everything you could ever need here. A good mix of natural and local items too! Staff is always very friendly, regardless of how busy the store is. Definitely my favorite place to get groceries in Vancouver.

I come here often to grab produce and other random items. They impressively seem to have everything you could ever want crammed into this little store. As long as you don't mind tight spaces you'll do okay here. Lots of dried fruits, canned goods, breads, and for the most part the produce is great. A few months ago I was shopping at East West market and witnessed a well dressed white man steal a carton of fruit juice and leave the store unnoticed by staff.
