New owners have taken over this wonderful little Dutch grocery store which has been an Ottawa institution for many, many years.  They offer a good selection of Dutch cheeses, groceries and meats as well as a nice selection of Dutch books and music.  Drop in for a fresh sandwich or some delicious sweets and snacks.

I have recently acquired a taste for sausages and smoked meats. When I was growing up, my mom cooked very plain meals (boiled meat?) and I developed a bland palate.
