Be careful not to go here when they allow deer hunting, very disconcerting to think that hunting is allowed in a conservation area. What does the definition of conservation mean to Hamilton if hunting is allowed? We took a walk on the Rail Trail the other day, just because it was nice to finally be able to get out of the house and enjoy the warm(er) weather. If possible, do the complete trail. Visit the falls, the lookouts and go all the way to the end.
You will find gorgeous views of the valleys and waterfalls and they are all fairly close to each other, so no time to get bored.
Unless you are into climbing, stay on the general path. Side trails can be very steep!
