Not consistent is the thing. One time there will be this super friendly service, next time you wait and wait and they still get the order wrong. The tub chairs are comfy but make getting around in the place difficult. (They are bulky) Food: fairly good pub style.
Ordered lunch for take out. I have to say, I’ve eaten at Duncan’s Pub a few times, never been overly impressed.

My mother and I stop to eat here whenever we are passing Amherst. The cuisine here is wonderful. From the delicious medditerranian sandwich to the delicious lemon cheesecake.
Sandwich consists of a Cabatta bun, grilled chicken, basil pesto, feta, olives and sundried tomato.
This is delicious and so tasty especially paired with a green salad with the house orange vinigeratte
Duncan’s Pub is a great place to sit back in a comfy chair and enjoy a wonderful meal. Fully licensed, they offer fine wine, imported ales, and mixed cocktails. Their menu is varied, and I have yet to try a dish I didn’t love (and I eat there often!)
Having a medium appetite, 1/2 of this excellent salad is plenty for me! Fresh mixed greens, full of ripe and sun dried tomatoes, lots of quality... more
