The torta subs (all for $4.45) are the best thing going here-fresh, house-baked buns loaded with shredded lettuce, tomato, avocado, and hot peppers. Try the spicy shredded beef machaca, chorizo and egg, or the carne azada, a savoury chicken schnitzel. The doughnuts, especially the honey dipped, are delicious. This is one of the city's best spots for cheap eats.

I really believe Duffin's has the best fried chicken in town. Their fritou chicken is the bomb! Whenever I come here I always get the fried chicken and some donuts....doesn't get any better than that! This place is open 24 hours, and at certain times it can be quite busy and their can be a bit of a lineup. This place wouldn't take credit cards...what a joke! After that, the cashier said "I'll take American dollars." After I told him "all I have is a $10 bill," he said with a cunning smile "I'll take $11." Keep in mind, this was for a $2.50 check in Canadian dollars, which would be closer to $2 US dollars. Cheap and grimy place but they have the best potato salad and sandwiches here. Open 24hrs which is awesome. They seem to have new staff who are much more pleasant than the previous staff.
