I just returned from 4 days in Jordan Valley and was pleasantly surprised. I live in Niagara Falls and researched the different campgrounds in the area as I was just looking to get the kids outdoors for a few days and not have to waste a lot of time and gas money traveling up north. This close campground was prefect. A 30 minute drive from the Falls, good looking campground with nice mature trees on the sites, clean washrooms and pool area (with slide for children). Friendly seasonal campers too. Fire wood is delivered to each site at 7pm. It's the quietest campground I've ever been at. Rules are strictly enforced, fires out by midnight, no fires allowed more than 2 ft high! Probably not a first choice for teens and 20 somethings, but super for retirees and young families. I will definitely be returning. Some other amenities were a playground, horseshoes, badminton, ping-pong, arcade, sandbox, little library, canoe rentals $7/hr and laundry. The owners also speak both French and English.

Owner drives around at sunset selling firewood directly to each site. Did not find the owners rude at all but there is a history as... more
