This review is somewhat long, but trust me, it's in your interest to read it.

I went to the Downtown Toronto Cat Clinic for the first time last June. I was unhappy with my experience at the Annex Cat Hospital--the main veterinarian there could be far friendlier and tone down her obvious moral evaluations of my fitness for caring for a cat--and decided to try Dr. Bonder.

When my regular vet was unable to examine my very wild and easily frightened 12 year old feral cat who was suffering respiratory problems, I took him to Dr. Bonder. She was able to sedate and examine him without any issues. Because he was very easily stressed she definitely went above and beyond with consulting with me via phone and email rather than my bringing him in again.

I can echo the other review (now hidden for some reason) about the pleasant surface and escalating costs. My initial consultation which was quoted at $70 when I made the appointment came out to $120 for a quick look-over, two vaccines (including a completely unnecessary rabies shot for an indoor only cat, which I only noticed on the bill later), a de-worming pill, a pitch for the special food... more
