This place has all the ingredients to be a great laid back neighborhood joint: warmth, old world charm, good music, good beer selection, oh ya, and a pool table too. Where it is lacking severely is the quality and selection of food (not to mention poor value) and overall disjointed feel of the establishment.

There are often great events here ranging through various styles of music and occasional comedy. The building is great, the decor is fairly decent. The beer selection is consistently good. The menu changes completely fairly often.

The service here is discussing to say the least. It's not that they are rude or not friendly, just that to actually get service is actually like a miracle. I'm fully not impressed. I have to admit it's a comfortable place if you don't want to eat or drink within an hour of arriving.
