Custom bikes is our thing, we build bikes ranging from Downhill Bikes to Chromoly commuters.

Honest. Likes bikes a lot. Will remember you and your bike and what work he has done on it. Repairs and custom bikes only as far as I can tell. Will get the right thing for you in terms of fitting your bike and your budget. He will insist you the the right thing even if it means you don't get anything. Basically he likes bikes too much to mess them up.

I would avoid this place. We purchased a Groupon for a bike tune-up. They didn't even lubricate the chain. The clerk told us how cheap our bikes were and offered to lubricate for $15 per lubrication area (over and above the paid $29 Groupon), total $60 per bike. The biles came back with parts still loose. It seem the the Groupon was just an opportunity to upsell us. Not a good experience. Feel... more

There was a minor issue with my bike tune-ups, that both of our bikes front brakes were set a bit close so they were rubbing against the wheel frame.

I know DJ Cycles is super busy in the summer season after the fact, but John was nice enough to stay 15 min. after close time to do a quick adjustment so we could ride the bikes home. Otherwise it'd be an hour long bus ride plus another trip back... more
