Delicious! Great decor and antmosphere
We enjoyed dinner for 2 at District the other night. We ordered the salmon salmon roll, and negrimachi (hamichi and green onions) roll and the chirashi dinner. The salmon salmon roll is an excellent choice for those who love "spicy salmon rolls" at other establishments. Great flavour, and just a step above the norm. The negrimachi (not sure if I got the name of that right), but it was a delicious mix of hamachi and green onions, quite excellent and unique. The Chirashi was also excellent, contained the usual suspects (samon, tuna, white fish, etc, they also added some shitake, and seaweed salad). The portion sizes are good - not overly huge. Would definitely go back!

Best Dragon Rolls in TO, Awesome Spicy Tuna Roll
I must have eaten a Green Dragon Roll at over 100 Sushi restuarants and Districts Roll topped the Charts. It was so tasty and fresh. The venue was awesome a pefect date Nite venue

District bills itself as a modern Japanese bistro. While standard sushi restaurant offerings like tempura, miso soup and maki line the menu, the vibe is more sleek and sexy and sharing of plates (tapas style) is encouraged.

Food is good, but expensive
June 01, 2012Slipped in for a snack one evening.The food is pricey because the restaurant wants to be a trendy spot. The servers are all super friendly, hipster, white 20 somethings.The sushi is good, and fresh - which comes at a price, but it's a bit over priced.
