by Mary (from calgary) April 2011 - Holy crow it has been ions since I've gone to Dickens! It's still dungeony, complete with pool tables, a place to play darts, and a dance floor to enjoy live bands. I went there for lunch because it isn't far from the office and totally forgot how cave-like it is! A steep set of stairs leads you into the bar so not very accessible if you have mobility issues.... more

I like the fact that weekend venues include Calgarian musicians, but other than that, the ambience and service is average.I didn't eat anything here, but my friends ordered chicken wings and they looked like anorexic wings to me!
