Of the dozens of older motels in Golden, this is the pick of the litter. Standing above the precipitous Kicking Horse River valley, just .8km (1/2 mile) east of Golden, the Golden Rim boasts sweeping views of the Rockies and the Columbia Valley. It offers standard queen-size-bed motel rooms, with some kitchen and Jacuzzi units available.

Good hotel just off main road, easy to locate.

Quiet comfortable overnight stay.
November 10, 2014We were greeted by an enthusiastic staff member when we arrived, even though it was 11:30 at night. Hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable with a wide assortment of items offered at breakfast the next morning.

November 06, 2014We arrived around 9 and were able to enjoy a delicious meal in the restaurant. Our server was phenomenal and the food (Indian) was awesome! We were very impressed with the breakfast and layout of the restaurant; we had our own dining booth and enjoyed a wonderful selection of hot and cold foods/drinks.
