Established in 1981, at a prime corner in Kitsilano, Darby's is a staple neighbourhood pub. After undergoing reno's towards the end of last year, we stepped things up a notch. Hole in the Wall with Awesome Burgers
We visit darby's for karaoke night about every other week. Until maybe a year ago the food was c@!p, and we rarely bothered eating.
But the menu changed, and we decided to try it again, and it was great. The burger is the main wow for me. It is a very good size, and good balance with meat, veg, sauce, and bun. Tastes delicious.

If you are just looking for a beer the roof top patio is a must. Wouldn't recommend the food.

The food is actually quite good and it's a good place to drink. I would give it 7/10 for value, 8/10 for food, 7/10 for service (can be slow sometimes) and an 8/10 for ambience (9/10 if you're on the rooftop patio)
