I went into Dairy Queen this afternoon on 33rd Street, Saskatoon, to purchase a hot fudge Ice Cream, and a milk shake for my husband. I do not usually make a complaint, but I have to say that the quality of what we had was awful. The ice cream was fine, but I could not believe what was happening in the making of a vanilla milkshake. The contents of which was I think some ice cream, milk, and I saw water being put in. The young lady whisked it for a few seconds and then presented it to me with the sides been cleaned by a dirty cloth. I did say that if this was not acceptable thinking I had seen not quite what I had seen, but unfortunately when my husband looked at it, I can only say that it was a curdled mess. I took it back and was not very happy.... I asked for a refund and an ice cream, but this time there were around 6 people waiting to be served. 'Sorry' but I did jump the line, she refunded me but said that I would have to get to the back of the line so that I can purchase the ice cream. What was going to happen to my ice cream which was on the table, sadly melting, so with that I decided not to wait.
The girl had an apron which was really really dirty... the other young lady did not have any form of dress code at all, just ordinary clothes. Do you have a dress code to present to the customer. If I had been a Health officer I can only summise. I do not usually complain but as a customer this was not acceptable, perhaps someone needs to re-analyse what is happening at this franchise, or perhaps you do not care...
