This place is hilarious to go to, its always a blast! Its for an older crowd and its known for its cougar regulars. The music is great, the people are fun and its always a wild night!
If you're a 60s or 70s child, this is the place for you for a casual night out of loud 80s / 90s music. Lots of cougars. A bit scary but can be a great time if you bring friends.
Crocodile Rock is happening every time I go in. The place is always full and always good music playing and there is a ton of people there just to hook up or pick up however you wanna call it.
Drinks are cheap and place is fun nothing bad can be said about that place.
There's something sweet about the fact that a club as untrendy and blue-collar as Crocodile Rock can survive in the heart of the entertainment district downtown. It caters to a slightly older crowd, for whom '80s pop will never die.
Crocodile Rock, if the name doesn't give it away, should best be avoided unless you're up for a night of drunken revelry with a bunch of 21 years old just looking to get sloshed and pick up. I got groped by women who taught my mother in high school. There was a guy in his 50's absolutely blasted on wine standing at the bar.... more
We've been going to Crocodile Rock on New Year's Eve for the last 6 years. It is fun! Great music as usual!! There was a balloon drop, hats and matching horns. Drinks were $4 all night.
I've celebrated my birthday here too.
The music is always good. It is my favourite place to go dancing. The food is good too....

It meant much to us to spend the New Year's countdown at a bar we've been to before. Not wanting to try others due to this, the ad they posted that there was a balloon drop during midnight and party favors to be distributed to all guests was nothing but just a come on ! Both did not happen that... more
This downtown hotspot has many faces: bar, pub and quality restaurant. But most of all, it is a good-time drinking establishment immersed in Cajun-bayou culture. Special nights include 911 Wednesdays (no cover for those with ID or badges), and Girls Night Out Fridays. There are line-ups, especially after 10:30pm, but with 20-foot ceilings and an expansive bar area, it is an enjoyable haunt even... more
