was over charged at his store
My husband and I purchased a leather sectional made by a certain company.We loved the sectional but it seemed over priced.Nevertheless we made the purchase quicly by a somewhat pushy saleswoman.We decided to check another "upscale"store the next day.We found the same sectional was being sold there "fairly" at $1100.00 less.When we approached Cricklewood about this and asked for a break,we were told that we should have shopped around!And too bad!Can you believe the nerve of these people?Secondly we paid delivery.After we mentioned the lesser price we were never treated like"folks" again.
This was a dissapointing experience and it seemed like the owners cared about their customers,but in the end all that mattered was the money.They would have had repeat customers had they been fair.But they were not.Shop there?Never again!!!

I was sold a 5 yr old bed for 3000.00 dollars.It was used and I was told it had never been slept on!!.When I requested a refund I was told by the owner no way.She witheld information about his bed,and knowingly took my money for a 5 year old bed.This was my savings and i had to go and buy another bed.I was so upset I cried.The owner is decietful and shady.I am still feeling ill about this experience.Buyer Beware!!!
its my place to shop
I found the service at Cricklewood to be the best in the city. I checked with the BBB and they had an A plus, and they deserve it...The store is so service oriented I find it remarkable in this economic climate. This is the only store that my wife and I will shop, and they even had milbones for my dog.. does it get better??? Allan

Overpriced
I recently found the "perfect table" in the showroom of Cricklewood. There was no stock on the table so I asked if I could purchase the floor model (at full price). The answer was no, and I must wait 3 months plus for a new table to arrive. I asked if they were willing to let me and my $3000.00 leave the store, to which the salesperson replied "we are doing quite well in this economy" I found the same table at Chintz and Co. for 30% less. So thanks Cricklewood, If your salesperson had been competent, I would have overpaid!
