Housed in a "beautiful", historic former courthouse, this "upscale" St. Lawrence Market–area club boasts 25-ft. ceilings and three iron-laced balconies, with "celebrities showing up occasionally"; while it's pricey, the well-dressed, "older" clientele appreciates the chance to "get away from the usual twentysomething crowd."

The fact that Courthouse actually used to be the Ontario courthouse shows in that it really makes the club more posh and elegant than other clubs that are just decorated spaces. Before the first time that I went I thought it would be a huge place but turns out to be more intimate but not overly crowded. I recommend for those who enjoy mainstream music... more
