The Coopérative funéraire de l'Outaouais is an organization which is fully owned by its approximately 12,500 members, who make joint decisions on its future. It can never fall into the control of foreign interests.

The Coopérative funéraire de l'Outaouais has been growing steadily since its humble beginnings in 1979. With the purchase, in June 2009, of the A. Gauvreau and Sons Funeral Home at 750 Maloney Blvd. East in Gatineau and at 16 Principale in Masham and of Daniel Brunet Inc. Funeral Home at 115 MacLaren East in the Buckingham sector, the Coopérative now operates 6 service points. In less than 30 years it has joined the ranks of the 7 largest funeral homes in Quebec.

In ultra-modern, attractive and warm surroundings, each of our facilities in the Hull and Gatineau sectors has two visitation rooms, a ceremonial hall, a reception hall and a columbarium. Acquired in 1999 and completely renovated since, our facilities in Thurso have a visitation room and a columbarium. Our new acquired facilities at 750 Maloney Blvd. East in Gatineau and at 115 MacLaren East in Buckingham also include a visitation room and a columbarium.
