This is a pretty nice place, I definitely prefer it to Memory Express.

For one the staff don't automatically assume you have no idea what you're doing and they have a reasonable selection. They actually carry older parts and accessories, something that Memory Express is really bad at.

In this town where specialized computer parts are concerned, pretty much everyone knows about Memory Express, and then there's everyone else. But among those are the 2 Computer Rack stores in Calgary (and the 3rd in Toronto), a friendly association of stores that also knows computer parts and knows them well.

I went here a week ago to get a screen for a laptop. I first phoned and they said they could get the particular screen I needed the next day. I said great and they told me to come down and pre pay for it so they can put in the order. I came down asap, paid for it and the guy said "we'll give you a call in the morning when its here."
