Great location & comfy beds
We stayed there for 2 nights for the Celine Dion concert and really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfy to sleep on. Admin & housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful. The pub downstairs has decent food and drinks at fair prices. Location was fabulous, it's within walking distance to most downtown attractions. I recommend if you do stay here to book a room above the first floor to cut down on the noise from the streets and pub. If you're looking for affordable downtown accomodations this is the place unless you are a smoker...there's no balconies so you'll have to go downstairs & smoke outside the hotel entrance.

“perfect for being downtown for concert”
May 22, 2013The location of this hotel is superb. The parking is out and the open, which worried me but it turned out to be okay for our overnight trip. The room was clean and the staff were young and friendly. It was a bit of a noisier area for the hotel, but this is to be expected for proximity to concert venues. I highly recommend this hotel for downtown concerts or bar scene, but not for a relaxing... more

My first impression was OH NO; as the exterior and location were scrubby; but once inside it was welcoming and clean with friendly, helpful staff.
Still with some trepidation we went to our room; the bed was very comfortable better than many 4-star hotels; the room was clean and well arranged.
Don't look out the windows to the south as it's not a terrific neighborhood. But again the location is...
