After twenty years, College Street Bar has been providing fresh, rustic Italian cuisine and nightly entertainment. Well known for our D.J.'s and live music
College Street Bar has become a favourite destination for music lovers and foodies alike. Located in the heart of Little Italy, College Street Bar thrives at being both a neighbourhood restaurant and “long lauded as the coolest bar in the city “ (– Liz Braun ,Toronto Sun).
College Street Bar has a fabulous patio (can't wait for the sun to come out) and a wide selection of drinks...although some of the drinks are pretty pricey, it's worth it. I especially enjoyed my time last Fall when I saw a couple bands play. The most noteable was The Tristones. This band just blew me away (in a great way) and I'm not usually a fan of loud music. Thanks College Street Bar for intruducing me to this wonderful Toronto band.
This place is alot of fun... located in the heart of little Italie, this bar offers some great live music at night. I ve seen a great band called the Tristones play here...they were awesome! The pints are well priced and the have all the usual suspects(stella,keiths,50,) and has a great covered back patio...great spot for drinks with friends or just to catch some live music.
Attended after googling what is on Toronto...and spotted a mixology competition for jamiesons whisky.
Lively ,loud and young!!...we did not let the fact we increased the average age somewhat distract us from our delicious food and wine..that was when the wine arrived..minor grumble, but we did have to remind the waitress she had forgotten our drinks, which were on the bar!!..However...

My friend and I decided to give this place a try during. The appetizers are great, so is the bar, the ambiance and the service. The stairs to the washrooms are a little be of a safety hazard though. On a Friday night, they charge cover, though the music wasn't worth paying for it.
Never went here to eat there, we only went to listen to the band playing on Sunday night, The Grind. The bar gets packed with people dancing to the music of this great band. The vocalist is such an amazing singer and dancer. You can't stop looking at her.
With live music events, rustic Italian food and a garden patio, the College Street Bar has established itself as the place to go for a good time. Specialties include chicken, wild mushroom and spinach penne, and grilled lamb loin with mint vinaigrette. Dinner, late-night daily. Casual. Entrees: $13.95-$22.95. AE, MC, V.
“Fun, funky and easy” is how fans describe this “unpretentious” Little Italy trattoria where the “cool bar food” includes pastas and risotto and the “service comes with a smile”; add in a (heated) garden patio, DJs and occasional live music, a long martini list and microbrewed beers, and the result is a “nice place to chill”; P.S. open till 2 AM.
