April 06, 2011Despite the fact that this coffee shop is mere seconds from my place, I still save my coffe fix for Insomnia downtown. A bagel and a coffee run for $8! This place pulls in an older crowd ( it's been around for a while), and while I almost always favor family owned, it's no secret that the Second Cup across the street is usually pretty busy.

March 02, 2010We go to this place from time to time when we don't feel like going to the chain coffee shop across the street. The problem with "chains" is they tend to have an impersonal and sterile environment that gives you the feeling that it is time to leave.
