Well worth a visit when in this beautiful capitol city
January 05, 2014Christ Church Cathedral is a beautiful Gothic revival cathedral set near the banks of the Saint John River in New Brunswick's capitol city. It was completed in the 1850's and has a rich and interesting history. It underwent a major renovation in the 1990's. Outside, it's very nice
December 06, 2013I assume the inside is nice, but it was closed when I was there. I walked around the grounds, took some photos, and enjoyed some of the history.

With a good tour guide, this is a very interesting stop
November 24, 2013Visit during the summer months and the Cathedral will have summer students on staff giving the tours. To be honest, the enjoyment of your tour will depend on the enthusiasm/expertise of your summer student. We went twice with two different groups of visitors, one tour was very informative with a very knowledgeable student, the other was "meh" with a kid... more
