The restaurant was recommended by the lady at the B&B we were staying at and she had explained the history of the restaurant. I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant last week. The meal was great, the service was helpful and the setting is pleasant. I wasn't really happy with the way so many tables are crammed in the top floor. This is my only complaint tho. It's a place worth going to.
We had a group of 5 on a Saturday afternoon. The service was good and the food options are plentiful ranging from smoked trout pate, wild salmon platter, lamb burger, to steak frites.
