Great View
This place really affords a brilliant view and I love it for that reason. I really enjoy sitting on their outdoor patio and sipping one of their many beers. I have tried their fajitas and they were really good.
Rip Off
2nd time we went we were disappointed with appetizers; this was our 3rd and last time.
A tourist trap right in the center of a beautiful area; too few restaurants in the area, so they take advantage!
Ordered fish & chips: fries looked like they were cooked the day before and reheated too many times. We asked the waitress for fresh fries to replace these burned soggy ones. We told her that at 13.95$ for this meal we could at least get decent fries. We were polite & calm but she started with feeling "attacked"!! She agreed that they looked bad when she brought the plates over ! 2 small pieces of fish, no salad or soup, just disgusting lukewarm overcooked fries for 13.95$ No joke most people come in from the outside to use the restroom without sitting down to eat ! They must be locals who know about the place ! A waste of money ! The young waitress needs PR lessons ! Great location, awful food !

Le commentaire précédent me semble complètement injustifié. Le Pub est en fait un lieu privilégié, ou on sent avant tout bien accueilli et qui est maintenant la PLACE ou se rendre à Chelsea.
Comment Ginette peut-elle être aussi déçue?? Peut-être qu'elle ne fait tout simplement pas partie du public cible du Pub!? Je rappelle qu'un sandwich au Subway avec liqueur douce coûte au moins 12$... donc payer 13 ou 14$ pour une assiette dans un restaurant est chose courante. Faut sortir un peu plus Ginette ou bien opter pour les chaînes. Bref, son commentaire est démesuré et vindicatif et le Web ne devrait pas servir à faire circuler de telles énormités...

Good place to stop for a bite when in the Gatineau Park
May 11, 2012Nice little restaurant located close at the entrance of the Gatineau Park. Nice big patio is great for stopping for a beer or two when coming back from outdoor activities in the Park. Home cooking at it's best

Great place for a bite and some live music

We visited the Chelsea Pub to see some music, and had dinner before the show. The beer selection was great -- lots of microbreweries with interesting concoctions. My partner tried a ginger beer that was quite good.
For the mains, we mostly stuck to the burgers & sandwiches. I had the wild burger (deer!) and my partner had the pulled...

Highly overpriced for what you get. Be prepared to spend more than 16$ for a simple sandwich and French fries. Local ontap beers are 7.50$ plus taxes. We've been waiting for more than 25 minutes and no one came to see us. They let people in even if the place if already over filled. Consider somewhere else.
