Styled as a 1950s Parisian café, this sweet haven near the Granville Bridge bursts at the seams on Saturday nights. Heavy on the cheesecake and light on the etc., the cakes are dense enough to support the Eiffel Tower and oh so flavourful. Buy the slice or take the whole cake—plain ($26) and chocolate ($31)—and tubs of toppings, too. Open nightly, 7 p.m. to 1 a.m., cash only.

June 25, 2011HORRIBLE service! Is that what it's known for? The servers where extremely RUDE and unattentive. Plus I don't see the hype about the place the cheesecake was good but wasn't worth the service. And the place smelled like mildew. I would be scared to see the place with the lights actually on... Who knows how clean it is! Definitel won't be going back.
