Spread out over three levels and a sun-dappled patio, this newish hotspot is favored by fun-starved ale aficionados and hungry window shoppers alike. Waiting to get served
February 21, 2014We went here for a drink last night and we were seated at the bar. We waited patiently for 25 minutes to get served for a drink trying to get the attention of bar staff and servers. We were completely ignored the entire time despite being seated right in front of the 2 barmen. We had to just leave. So... more

Get a caesar with your brunch
November 01, 2013Commercial Drive has its fair share of funky little brunch and dinner places. I've only been to the Charlatan once, for brunch on a sunny and mild Fall day, and I'd give it a cautious recommendation. Friendly staff, a nice outside section just off the Drive where you can enjoy the sunshine while you eat, good atmosphere, but hit-and-miss food.... more
