We recently took our cat to this hospital due to what turned out to be rat poisoning. Our regular vet was away. Our cat got acceptable care the first afternoon, - his critical zone fever was reduced and he was re-hydrated. Because they close at night, we had to take him home upon which the fever returned (42 degrees C).
We took him back the next morning. By the end of the afternoon our cat's condition had worsened and appeared comatose. The fill in vet seemed polite but evasive and hurried to depart for the day leaving us to our own devices.
We decided our cat needed 24 hour care expecting it probably would not last the evening. We took it to Surrey Animal Hospital who were entirely caring and professional. They were able to reduce the fever temperature almost at once. After about a week the cat had returned from death's door to health.
We will not return to Cedar Hills. As working professionals we deem this to be a serious case of negligence.
