My cousin took my family here. Being from Edmonton (although not Ukrainian), I was a little suspicious that someone named Cecil could serve good perogies. However, I was quite pleased. Not worth the $$$. It's not "home cooked" if it comes out of a microwave!!! The cabbage roll is nothing but half cooked rice wrapped in cabbage sitting in watered down tomato sauce!!! The perogies were tasteless flat balls of dough!!!
On a walking tour of Kelowna from wineries to brewery to distillery. Came across this restaurant. Had the Ellens platter which is a sample of perogies with a cream sauce, kielbasa, cabbage rolls and roast beef. Many locals in for lunch. Put on a fresh pot of coffee for us.
