Didn’t get past the front door so can’ t comment on the food.
Made a reservation, stood in line, had this group of people show up later than us and be seated before us, even though the restaurant was half empty.
So we just left.
Anyways, the place smelt like a bathroom cleaning fluids (bad bleach) the minute you stepped in there and the atmospher just felt really old, dead, and tired.
Cataplana was completely empty when my family arrived at around 7 PM. Perhaps this is due to european influence in the largely Portugese community surrounding it. Regardless, the seafood was excellent (I had skate cataplana), and the bread/oil and olive appetizers were dignified in their simplicity.
