ok a bit pricey but if your not in a rush and want to treat yourself, its worth it once in awhile....
good wine list.
The food was average, service was terrible and Manager was rude. I had a party of 30 people, we only had one waiter and service took 5 hours! Food: fish was like rubber, steak was overcooked and even had to return one dish because there was a hair. The waiter didn't seem to care that we complained and the Manager basically told us we were 'out of luck'. Over priced and NOT recommended

The Caritas company, which organized the scheme, was founded by Ioan Stoica in April 1992 in Braşov as a limited liability company with just 100000 lei (500 USD, or $783 in current terms) in capital. Caritas moved to Cluj-Napoca two months later. The deposits were initially small (2000–10000 lei), but later, the minimum initial deposit was 20000 lei, while the maximum was 160000 lei.
The godfather of all Italian restaurants in Montréal has been doing a brisk business for over 20 years. Once inside, the dining rooms are decorated with arches, stucco walls and a statue of Venus de Milo. Tuxedoed waiters bustle about with white napkins draped over their arms. The cuisine proves that traditional fare does not have to be boring. In Casa Napoli's cucina, the osso buco is tender,... more

We came. We saw. We ate. It's a simple sentiment that speaks to the spirit of the traditional Italian trattoria -- a place where uncomplicated, home-cooked food was prepared for neighbours and friends. It is this spirit that inspired us to open La Trattoria and share the food that we grew up with, and the food that we love.
