The service we received by Ryan at Carpet Superstore was appalling. He lost our original order; left for a week and no one could get in contact with him; said he could have our hardwood to us in a few days but it turned out the product we wanted would take 10 weeks to get; chose another company and he promised our hardwood on a Tuesday and it did not arrive until 4 days later (after being "lost" in a warehouse somewhere in Regina); said he organized an installer for us but when we contacted him he said Ryan had not contacted him. They arranged for the hardwood to be delivered to our home (to compensate for all our troubles) then forgot to deliver it; when we went and picked it up and had the installer come Ryan once again forgot to order the bullhead and joiner pieces. The only good thing about this whole process was their installer, Mike who was very professional; When I personally went in to complain to the Manger, Trent Dickin he was rude to me and only said he was "sorry that Ryan promised you the hardwood on a certain day and he shouldn't have" REALLY?! Would NEVER recommend this store;
I find it interesting that TrustedRegina.com were so quick to post on weblocal.ca after I brought my concerns regarding my own experience with this business to their attention and identified reviews posted by other customers on weblocal.ca. As such, I feel that I should post as well.
I had carpet installed in December 2010. I have posted a couple of photos of work completed by Carpet Superstores that have still not been addressed by Carpet Superstores despite my phonecalls, letters, BBB complaint - all ignored. They have an F rating on BBB for ignoring customer complaints. Trusted Business? I have plenty more photos and documents to share if you wish.
Actually, Trusted Regina's last email to me did state:
"I’ll be frank with you – As I thought when reading the previous documents…all of this happened years before Carpet Superstore signed a Contract with Trusted Regina in Feb 2012- so I am cannot proceed with enforcing the Trusted Policy in this case- as they were not contractually bound to uphold the Trusted Guarantees at that time...As I have stated , I am meeting with Trent this week and want to discuss this with him in detail - as it does look as though you were let down in quite a few key areas."
IMO, Carpet Superstore should not be included on Trusted Regina.
Trent and the team at Carpet Superstore Regina have been given the THUMBS Up from TrustedRegina.com as a Trusted Regina Flooring Store . We spoke to their clients ..and we heard about what a great job they do when it comes to customer service, OUTSTANDING ...Trusted Works for the public NOT the businesses we feature..so you can TRUST us to tell you the truth www.trustedregina.com
