Good market, lots of choice, great parking
August 07, 2013This is a regular summer Farmers Market which incorporates a Garlic Festival in mid August. Produce is constantly reliable though not always the cheapest. Garlic bought in August and hung in cool place will last a full TWELVE MONTHS!! Bacon on a Bun
October 20, 2012While visiting the Ottawa area for the month of September one of the highlights of a relaxed Saturday morning was visiting the Carp market. Tons of colorful fascinating stalls both indoors and out loaded with local produce, crafts and other various goods. The food booths offered a nice variety, one being the quite popular Bacon on a Bun.

Great country market
August 10, 2012We visited on the weekend of the garlic festival. Lots of people were in attendance and all appeared to be having a great time. Summer produce was in abundance. There were many vendors selling local garlic. The food section had some interesting choices ranging from pouting to Thai. We enjoyed our time at the market and hope to return.
