Poor Amenities and Service

This hotel is possibly one of the worst hotels to stay in when visiting Winnipeg. The only positive note is the convenient location to all the nice downtown Winnipeg higlights, otherwise the hotel itself is barely worthy of being a hostel. The rooms are decorated with furniture dating back to the 70s. The exercise room is nothing more than a banquet room with several weights and an exercise bike. The hottub barely functions and the outdoor pool is filthy. The service was poor as the staff seemingly didn't care to my needs. The restaurant is elegantly decorated but serves sub-par entrees at ridiculously high prices. I can not mention anything positive about the experience staying at this hotel. The parking is free but far from secure. Overall a poor experience and I would have gladly paid double the price to stay at a far more comfortable and accomodating hotel.
