expensive, but good with delicates
i have a linen dress from comrags which unfortunately got a black oil stain on it. i was concerned that the dress was ruined and called comrags to see what they suggested. i was told to bring it to careful dry cleaners and i am glad i did. it looks good as new. it costs more than your average cleaners, but for very special pieces i think it is worth it.

September 06, 2011It's expensive, but when you have that piece of clothing that is dear and precise to you...better safe than sorry!! Careful Hand Laundry & Dry Cleaners are great in that they get your clothes clean and looking sharp without pressing it too much/washing it too much - thereby preserving the life of the clothing. Favourite thing(s) at this place: Dry Cleaner

I'm absolutely appalled at being charged $50 to have a simple cocktail dress dry cleaned at Careful Hand Laundry. What an absolute sham considering it's neighbours, Modern Laundry & Brother's and Son's, both of whom I've been happy with in the past, charge closer to $10-15 for the same service.
