Happy Me
I have had my vehicle, as well as my wifes, in Carbuffs, at least six times. They have always done a bang up job, and treated me great each time. A couple of times my wife has been unable to follow me there and give me a ride to work, and the fellows from Carbuffs have happily driven me where I needed to go. The owner is always very friendly, as is his staff, and have always reminded me not to put my matts down until my carpets are dry. One time I got in my car to go home and there was a $ 20. bill on my dsah. Upon inquiring, I was told they found it under my seat. Now THAT, impressed me. I will continue to have my SUV cleaned there, and recommend everyone else to do the same.
Horrible, absolutely horrible!!
This is the first time I've ever gone to a business and left thinking, "I need to tell as many people as I can to avoid this place". But after my experience here, I only hope that I can save someone from the horrible service that carbuffs has to offer.
I had my vehicle scheduled in for a detailing and shampoo (cost $155). I was told on the phone to bring it in for an 8:00 appointment so upon arriving at 7:50 I was a little surprised that no one was there to greet me. I was far more surprised though that at 8:10 there still wasn't anybody there to greet me! Not a good start, but I still had faith in them . . . . I asked when they expected to have it done by and the employee estimated around 2:30ish
I hadn't heard any word on my vehicle by 4:30 so I called to check on its status. They informed me that it still wasn't done but that they'd have it done by close. At 5:45 while I was on my way to pick it up, they called to let me know it still wasn't done but that they'd have it done by noon the next day. No problem, I can still roll with all of this.
The next day I called to see if it was done at 12, they say yes. I go to pick up my car at 1:00, it's not done!! - "Come back in an hour". I'm not impressed at this point but I still have faith that when I finally do pick up my car and calmly explain my experience to them they'll maybe throw in a free air freshner or knock $10 off the price. So when I come back to finally get my car at 1:30 I do just that, explain my experience. The response I got was "It's a process that can't be rushed so they can't do anything about it" (They did however offer a discount if I paid with cash - Anybody out there work for CRA?) The problem was that the process was clearly rushed because when I got my car back, it came with wet seats, wet mats that were hastily thrown in the trunk (not installed as they should have been) , and windows that were streakier then when I brought it in. A week after the fact I was left with a vehicle that because it wasn't properly dried smelled like a bag of wet rags and had to take it to a separate car washing service to get the job done properly. All around I was completely shocked at how much they didn't care about the inconveniences that they caused me at every turn and more so at the terrible job that they did. Save yourself the money and headache and DO NOT GO TO CARBUFFS, it is a joke of an operation!
The best in town
I have been to the other detailers in town and they just don't compare to the service and quality I received at Car Buff's. The guys were all very friendly and working very hard. They didn't miss an inch ... I have never seen my truck that clean or sparkely since the day I bought it. Thanks guys keep up the good work!!!
