Slowest service and worst breakfast ever

My partner and I arrived in Port Hardy by BC Ferries Northern Expedition at about 11:30 PM August 03/14.
The following day, August 04/14, BC Day, we went looking for breakfast after catching up on our sleep. My favourite restaurant was closed for BC Day so we stopped at Captain Hardy's.
They charged us in advance of receiving our breakfast...

August 07, 2014I liked the halibut & chips so much two years ago that, when I had to drive all the way to the north end of Vancouver Island again this year, I made a point of returning to Captain Hardy's. June 29, 2014Had takeaway and they were the worst fish and chips I have ever tasted. And really expensive, though we were given the 2 piece option even though we didn't ask for it. Gross.
