This Italian restaurant has delicious pizza! The food tastes like it came right from an oven in Italy!
The wood fired pizza is good. The decor is nice and the staff was friendly. On a friday night which wasn't that busy, they had 9 or 10 people working, which I found a bit strange, and the place is a bit small so extra people weren't needed in the building...The pizza was a touch expensive, but it was yummy so I didn't mind much. I would go back again, they also do delivery!!!
This warm and cozy pizzeria features homemade, authentic-style pizza and pastas in downtown Toronto's Little Italy.

Capitol is one of those old school restaurants in Little Italy that somehow manages to stay in business year after year. Offering nothing particularly noteworthy on its menu (or ambiance), it nevertheless wins points for its prime location on the southwest corner of College and Clinton.
Well I am suprised with the low rating but again to each there own, as for me well its honestly as home style as you can get service can be touchy at times but food has never disappointed.
2011 got our table right away we had to wait 20 minutes for the appetizers, the calamari was just alright. They did not even clear the table and the main course came. My husband had the stake it was hard as a rock and the rest of the party had the lamb chops..horrible disaster full of oil! YUK The service was terrible, i will never go back to this restaurant! CHE VERGOGNA,,FATE SCHIFO!
on hot weekend evenings, but the food is worth the wait, our waitress Valentina is super awesome. i live right around the corner and am an regular now. avoid getting put off by the older lady though (maybe the owner), she generally looks miserable, but she really is not.
Described as being as cozy as "the kitchen of a Tuscan Nonna," Capitol Trattoria is fittingly located in the city's famous Little Italy, with a beautiful patio looking onto scenic College Street. Enjoy authentic homemade Italian cuisine, such as crisp pizzas, in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
