Two Thumbs Down
I made my first visit to the Canton Cafe several months ago, it was also my last. It was the absolute worst service I have ever received. The staff and the gentleman who appeared to be the owner were all rude. When I asked the server for a third menu(there were 3 of us and only 2 menus), her one word response was "Share!" As far as the food goes, it is comparable to any other Canadian Chinese food restaurant, no better, no worse. I will not return.

Best Chinese Food in Atlantic Canada!
April 12, 2004I must say, it was quite a pleasant surprise to return to PEI after 16 years and find this place still in business! The food is wonderful; they use proper Chinese ingredients, make their own eggrolls, and have a wide variety of dishes to choose from. The staff are excellent and courteous, and the place has a great decor!

The food here is reasonable priced and the atmosphere very laid back. This is a very basic restaurant - not very fancy. The food is good here but far from exeptional.
