Love the name, CANADIAN tire, and there are lots of items I need where I think, "Canadian Tire should sell them," but frequently when I go there they don't have what I need. Not an easy shopping experience. Very tall shelves, cramped aisles, not easy to find an item or a salesperson. And the salespeople, when you do find them, are not consistently knowledgeable.
Good for the essentials, good sales, otherwise prices are too high. Cramped aisles, hard to find staff to help.
this place has decent, mid-level items. all are very overpriced, unless purchased on sale
Worst mecanic in town. It ain't without reason we call them CrappyTire.
I'm an experienced IT and my father is an Engineer. I'm pretty sure I have the right skill set to do a little wiring. Wired up my remote starter. Got everything to work except for the remote starting so I brought it to the shop.
They got it to work but fried my BCM and put the the blame on me like what I didn't ground...

To make a long story short ... my dad had a flat/shredded tire late at night in the middle of nowhere ... the next morning he happily bought a new tire at this Canadian Tire on a Sunday as soon as it opened, and then when he asked them to insert his wheel into the new tire, they refused and said they were booked for 4 days! I'm not a particularly big fan of this Canadian Tire. It's clean, well-stocked, and organized but the service leaves something to be desired.
