i'm not a skier but i did find touring this facility very interesting especially after enjoying the Olympics
a ski hill that's great for family and for learning, COP has always provided a good environment for beginners. the prices are good and you can get a season's pass, and the lifts aren't slow like they used to be 10 years ago. worth going back if you haven't been lately.
I'm quite surprised and somewhat ashamed in my lackadaisical outdoor lifestyle. There are three seniors that regularily "attend" the Mcdonalds at Canada Olympic Park. The service is always friendly and very efficient and without a doubt the best coffee and muffins and unquestionably the best value in town. As the eensiest Skihill in western Canada, Canada Olympic Park (COP) even manages to be located within city limits.
