Many vegan or vegetarian options and it is a bit pricey. I had the angry panini with the quinoa salad and also black coffee. The coffee was alright. The panini was good, the salad was slightly sweet and it was too moist in my opinion. Love this place! I was so excited to find a vegan place in kitchener after zen garden closed. Every time I go now I get the johnny bagel, which is awesome. Their cookies and desserts are amazing (and omg their smoothies), and I love the laid back atmosphere. Staff is knowledgeable and patient with inquiries about products and ingredients (serious allergies here).

Cafe Pyrus offers many vegan options, which also means that it's pricey and full of hipsters. I got a sandwich with tempah bacon and I've ordered the quinoa salad with cranberries before.
