Reliable (and Shades of Moosewood

I'm not a vegetarian but I like this place. Food like at a good diner (but meatless), counter-cultural atmosphere, young hip staff with musical choices to match. Not feeling adventurous I just went with the veggie burger (they make their own patty). The salad I had as a side really stood out even though it was winter. The meatloaf here... more

Spicy Bomb Burger is Super

I stopped into Cafe Mosaics today for a Spicy Bomb Burger on the recommendation of one of my staff. It was indeed very good. Crunchy, good texture, not overly spicy (though I think I would like it a little spicier), and pleasantly filling.

I am a regular here. They pretty much know my order by heart. The unknown burger is fantastic as is the portabello mushroom burger. I am vegetarian but they also do vegan and have a gluten free menu as well. The desserts are delicious especially the vegan chocolate cake. The soups may sound like odd combintions but are always delicious!... more
