Mirage has brought its unique concept of great ambience, fine cuisine at an affordable cost that would impress a family breakfast, a business lunch or a romantic night out. From the moment one enters Mirage, the design is relaxing and indulging. The mixture of modern, rich décor, mesmerizing music and distinctive cuisine is the soul of this spot.

Nice lounge

This place is great; however, you are yet to be in the most elegant lounge in entire Richmond Hill if you haven't visited Cyan cafe & lounge. I tasted their Syrian hookah after my shish kebab dinner and became a fan.

Goodbye 2 Cora's...Hello Mirage!!!

Came in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised they serve BREAKFAST favourites!! Yumm!!! So needless to say I ordered off the brunch section :) The portion was generous, service was great...no complaints... and food actually was really good!!! I would never expect to walk into an "upscale" cafe/restaurant that served great breakfast! Definitely coming back to try items off the dinner and drinks menu!

V-Day.

My boyfriend and I came here after trying to make a last minute decision on a restaurant to celebrate Valentine's Day. We ordered a Valentine's weekend special. It was a 5 course meal. arugula salad - minimal taste, mostly consisted of black beans, ravioli - was delicious, mussels with tomato sauce - loved the mussels, not so much the tomato sauce, the veal - okay but the red wine sauce slightly ruined it. At the end, they forgot the creme brulee that came with it and when we asked for dessert they gave us the menu. The waitress seemed like she didn't care and wasn't courteous, and everyone around us seemed to receive more attention. We didn't ask for the dessert and left. It was a terrible first experience for me, and I will never go ther again.

It gives me a feeling that the whole restaurant is almost empty during dinner hours. We order the Prix Fixe Menu for $30. The appetizer is Mixed Greens Salad mixed in balsamic vinaigrette dressing. The portion is big and the greens are fresh. The entrée we ordered Grilled Chicken Breast which is tender. The sauce with sundried tomatoes and spinach... more

Subpar food

I think the ambiance and service of Mirage Grill & Lounge (Richmond Hill) are fine for a night out with friends. However, the food was disappointing. Sides (spring rolls, rice, veggies) tasted and looked like they came right out of a supermarket freezer and the fish was very dry.

Verdict: Not somewhere I would recommend to anyone, but it's decent. That's all.
