My husband and I loved CC and have eaten there on many occasions. We knew from the moment we walked in that there must be a new owner. The decor is no longer warm and inviting--European like. It's cold and unwelcoming by the very fact the tables and couches were re arranged.

Cafe Chartreuse is one of those little places which always look closed, but once you check, you never look back. Perhaps it's the dark windows which blank out the interior, or the fact that it is situated on a corner, but do venture inside if you like real good, authentic chocolate croissants.

We always come here for lunch when we are in Collongwood. Their food is healthy and
delicious. Patrick, the chef and owner, is very creative. I like their soups and salad.
My husband likes their sandwiches. Sunday brunch is great too.
