Chips Fish fish & chips I would not have ordered in the first place. Disgustingly greasy. And a 90 detail job on my van. Newton only newspaper and it ruined the carpets in my 6 month old caravan. when I called to complain Ordered take out Restaurant Restaurants seafood they did not put it in a bag they told me it was MY FAULT. I should have asked for a bag. If I new how greasy the fish was um? fish and chips? haha

Greasy, greas, greasy

Ordered take out, they did not put it in a bag, only newspaper and it ruined the carpets in my 6 month old caravan. when I called to complain, they told me it was MY FAULT. I should have asked for a bag. If I new how greasy the fish was, I would not have ordered in the first place. Disgustingly greasy. And a $90 detail job on my van.

Great for take out too

Staff super efficient and friendly and give you no nonsense service. Fish and chips are good and they just let you be after your meal.

Three of us went to Newton C-Lovers on Aug 7, the server (singular) was in over her head and very disorganized. Ordered dinner for 2 and halibut and caesar salad. The fish was cut into 2" square sections and we got 4 pieces, 4 prawns, and cold fries. Asked for fresh fries when server came to table, took almost 10 minutes for replacements. The restaurant is spotless even when super busy, which it is on certain days. I've eaten here several times, and the fish and chips are average to good. Crispy batter, fresh fresh fish and decent if not average coleslaw. The prices are good, and the service is good to very good. They have a choice of cod, halibut and east... more
