Nice, but not precisely what we ordered

We recently ordered a lemon cake with lemon curd filling. The curd was missing, it was regular buttercream. The cake itself was very good though. Slightly underdone in the centre but that made it quite moist. I highly enjoyed it.

Delicious cupcakes

Buttercream is an awesome store to visit in downtown core. Their cupcake are sublime. I have eaten there twice and both the times I have had a great experience.
There is a great variety, monthly specials and also a range of cakes.
I also liked the staff, they are polite and courteous.

I'm very happy Buttercream has a location on the +30 level of The Core downtown. My clients and co-workers love receiving treats from Buttercream, and the minis are a perfect thank-you or special occassion gift. Nice to have an alternative for Crave - they missed a big opportunity to come downtown. Both Buttercream and Bliss have, and you don't have to deal with costly delivery charges from... more
