Born out of the simple notion that food and entertainment can go hand in hand, Ristorante Buonanotte has continued to fulfill its duty as Montreal's "beacon of nightlife", while still being able to maintain its devotion to culinary excellence in Italian cuisine. Buonanotte is the place for those wishing to experience the charm, style, flair and grace the city has to offer on its most vibrant... more

Classe!

Un resto bar vraiment classe. Une ambiance un peu branchee, des serveuses visiblement triees sur le volet...
Ce n'est pas donne mais un ednroit tres agreable!

It's a high-end, expensive Italian restaurant, but many head to Buonanotte just for a drink, and then a little bit of dancing as the space turns into a makeshift nightclub later into the night. Its reputation comes as much from being a nightspot for the fabulous and the celebrated as anything else, and it attracts people with serious money to spend. It can be crowded, and if you're not a... more

The decor of this high-ceilinged room was recently freshened up, but Buonanotte still resembles something out of New York's SoHo. Bass-heavy dance music, waitresses who look ready to depart to their next fashion shoot, everyone clad head to toe in black -- it's all fabulous and dizzying. Though the food takes second place to the preening, the contemporary Italian dishes are good. The noise... more

Lamborghini mandatory. Or at least looking like you drive one is. Thigh-highs, push-up bra, or better yet, no bra—highly suggested. Before the plates have even been cleared, all hell breaks loose at this supper club-cum-night spot. Positively steamy. High rollers and low blowers. Ladies aren’t above ramming a bony elbow into your side for better bar access. Hey, you gotta fight for your right... more

Came here with a large group of 10 guys. We had a prix-fixe menue, all the appetizers were amazingly delicious. We had the polenta with spicy sausage, beets with goat cheese and the grilled shrimp. All very good. The next course was the main dish, we were given a choice of Seared Tuna or Filet Mignon. I had the filet... more

I've been to this restaurant twice, and I live in Montreal. First, the staff can be very aloof and rude, which is odd, because they are in service and supposedly want to encourage you to spend money. And you need a lot of the stuff to do anything here. The feeling they give you is that you're lucky to be... more

I noticed alot of the previous reviews said the food was bad but they must have gotten a new chef because the food I had was amazing! The wait for the food was a tad long but definitely worth it. The service I had was great too. If you had a bad experience there I would give it another shot!

While the kitchen at this slick hot spot does churn out some reasonably impressive California and Italian hybrid cuisine (mostly pasta, grilled meat and seafood), this monument to the niche is not especially known for its food. Rather, it is the decor and attitude that attract throngs of beautiful people who crave chrome, shiny things, dancing and schmoozing.

Located in the heart of Saint Laurent Boulevard, at Buona Notte you can enjoy one of the chef's creations, or pick a traditional entree like veal or filet minon. DJ's are on hand to spin your favorite current or classic hits.
