Despite its geographical obscurity (Buca is located way down a King West back alley) the cozy room--all exposed brick, super high ceilings, and bare industrial bulbs--is always filled with symmetrical thirtysomethings. One bite of chef Rob Gentile's rustic Italian cuisine and you'll know why. As expected, the various pizza and pasta offerings are sublime, but don't miss out on more adventurous... more

In the back area there’s a wine bar and curing area. The simple menu includes pizza, pasta, salumi, small plates and other Italian fare. The restaurant is located in an alleyway next to Cheval.
